April 2: The 180-Day Body Refinement Plan

Surviving the broken economy by building a better body instead of buying one.

Since March 15—my birthday—I’ve been working on something a little more long-term.

Not a quick fix. Not a “summer body” panic. A full 180-day glow-up.

Where I’m Starting

I’m not overweight.

But I’m also not where I want to be. At 5’3, I’d like to get down to around 115 lbs—not for perfection, but for that sleek, toned, put-together look I know my body can have.

Right now, I can see where I need tightening:

• arms

• waist

• overall tone

Nothing extreme. Just refinement.

What I’ve Been Doing (Since March 15)

No gym. No trainer. No expensive programs.

Just what I already have:

• 10 lb weights

• resistance bands

• exercise bike

• And consistency.

I’ve been focusing on:

• arm workouts (for that toned, defined look)

• waist exercises (tightening and shaping)

• light cardio on the bike

Nothing fancy. Just showing up.

The Real Shift (This Part Matters More)

I’ve also cleaned up my eating—nothing drastic, just intentional:

• Cut down sugary foods

• Completely cut out soda

That alone feels like a win. Because let’s be honest… sometimes the smallest changes are the hardest to stick to.

Why I’m Doing This

Not because I hate my body. Because I want to elevate it.

There’s a difference. I want to look more polished. More put-together. More like the version of myself I see in my head.

And I’m doing it the only way that makes sense right now: without throwing money at it.

The Plan (Simple + Sustainable)

Keep working out consistently

• Focus on arms + waist

• Stay mindful with food (not perfect, just better)

• Track progress over the full 180 days

No extremes. No burnout. Just steady improvement.

Part of the Bigger Picture

This is separate from my April jawline challenge—but it’s part of the same idea:

Do what you can… with what you have.

No perfect conditions. No waiting. Just starting.

Looking Ahead

I’ll share updates along the way—what’s working, what’s not, and what actually makes a difference.

Because at the end of 180 days, I don’t want a temporary change. I want something that lasts.

Day 18 of the 180 countdown.

Still early… but I’ve started.
