April 1: A Different Kind of Investment

Surviving the broken economy by investing in a license instead of just getting by.

Since March 15, I’ve been casually—let’s be honest, half-committed—studying real estate terminology on my own.

Today, April 1, I made it official. I enrolled in real estate pre-licensing.

Why This, Why Now

I’m not coming from a place of desperation. I actually love my life.

I live full-time in my RV. No boss. I work when I want. I’ve built a life that gives me freedom, and I don’t take that lightly.

But if I’m being honest, I’ve also been feeling something else: Like I’ve been maintaining… not building.

Existing… without a clear destination.

The Shift

Lately, I’ve been thinking more seriously about buying land. Nothing big.Just a small home base.

Something stable that’s mine.

But I also know this: Gig work alone isn’t going to get me there.

Not in a way that feels secure or sustainable. So instead of staying in that loop, I decided to make a move.

Why Real Estate

Real estate makes sense to me.

It connects directly to where I want to go:

• Land

• Property

• Ownership

• Long-term stability

This isn’t just about becoming an agent. It’s about learning the system… so I can move differently within it.

What This Means Going Forward

This is something I’ll be working on alongside my monthly challenges.

It won’t be perfect. It won’t be fast. But it will be consistent.

And like everything else here, I’ll document it honestly.

Part of the Bigger Picture

This is still The 180 Log.

Still about doing what I can with what I have.

Still about making progress without pretending everything is easy or fully figured out.

Just… one step further.

Day 1 of something new.
